### Oh, by the way...

It's an honor just to be nominated! Seriously. I am

floored

that my little blog, started on a whim at the beginning of this year, made the short list in the

[Book Blogger Appreciation Week awards](http://bookbloggerappreciationweek.com/2011/09/2011-bbaw-short-lists/)

for Best New Book Blog 2011. I am humbled by the nomination, and want to extend a big thank you to the judges for putting me through to the short list!

I so did not expect this. Gosh, now I feel like I should fluff the cushions and put out fresh flowers for my new blog visitors. Make yourself at home, and I hope you'll stay a while!

If you're participating in Book Blogger Appreciation Week and are inclined to vote for Reading Everywhere, I certainly would appreciate the love. Be sure to check out the other blogs nominated in this category, too-- they're all fantastic!
